Analog Fluids Of Sonic Black Holes

Analog Fluids Of Sonic Black Holes, il nuovo album di Camae Ayewa/Moor Mother da Filadelfia, esce l’8 novembre per Don Giovanni Records (la stessa di Fetish Bones, il più conosciuto dell’artista afroamericana).

Un buco nero sonico esiste davvero ed è un fluido che scorre così veloce da intrappolare il suono (il suo omologo spaziale, del resto, intrappola la luce). Questo può diventare una metafora della difficoltà degli oppressi a farsi ascoltare.

Il disco – che di nuovo unisce noise, hip hop, poesia, afrofuturismo… – è frutto di molte collaborazioni. Alcuni dei nomi coinvolti sono Saul Williams, Justin K. Broadrick (che qui restituisce il favore a Camae, molto presente nel disco degli Zonal), King Britt, e il rapper di Filadelfia Reef the Lost Cauze.

Il primo pezzo in ascolto è proprio quello realizzato con Broadrick: “After Images”.
