JASON SHARP, The Turning Centre Of A Still World

Jason Sharp (Montréal, di famiglia alla Constellation) fonde sax ed effetti elettronici: saxgaze, figlio di Fennesz, Tim Hecker e Ben Frost, ma senza laptop. Sharp qui – banale, so – indovina un po’ di pezzi, per questo lo consiglio: “Unwinding Surrender” e “Upwelling Hope” sono sognanti come la prima elettronica, “Velocity Of Being” e “Blossoming Rest sono tristi e solenni come l’alba su di una Terra deserta (sì, la copertina del disco è indovinata), “Humility Of Pain” è l’ultimo grido di una specie morente. Veritiero una volta il comunicato stampa che parla di score fantascientifico. Ascoltare e comprare.
