Mono Junk live a Bologna

Kimmo Rapatti è l’artista che si cela dietro alcune delle primissime produzioni electro e techno in Finlandia, assieme a Mika Vainio (Pan Sonic) e Tommi Grönlund (Sähkö Recordings).
Non solo Daniel Bell, Basic Channel e Robert Hood hanno contribuito a modellare la raw techno degli anni ’90: la sua DUM records ha sempre giocato un ruolo fondamentale nella scena.
Dalla sua dipendeza per i synth analogici nasce il moniker Mono Junk: il suo progetto più solido e longevo. Dopo una lunga pausa, Mono Junk riappare nel 2014 con un paio di ep sull’acclamata Forbidden Planet e su Skudge Records, dell’omonimo duo svedese.
Un vero veterano dell’underground.
