VOX DELITTO, Potlatch

L’esordio dei Vox Delitto per Sotterranei pianta le radici nell’inverno del 2013 per arrivare a sbocciare nel 2015 come una “sana” pianta che diffonde miasmi psych-rock. Il centro musicale è quello appena citato, nonostante le chitarre siano dotate di una buona irruenza che un tempo avremmo definito alt-rock. L’utilizzo di flauto traverso (“Little Boy”), djembe e darbuka rendono, poi, più ampio lo spettro di sonorità a disposizione di bassi slabbrati e ritmiche arrembanti. I testi paiono ancora solo un “orpello” utile a rendere più coeso l’ìmmaginario musicale del gruppo, capace di sconfinare anche in territori affini al post-rock alimentato a blues sfatto (l’intermezzo di “Rovine” e “Il Mare”), mentre “Hibaruska” vive di melodie più nette cullate da chitarre (e lap steel) folk-rock.
