Mr. Henry – It’ll Be Over

Ho iniziato a scrivere di Mr. Henry su queste pagine un anno fa, con la prima delle dodici tracce che faranno parte di Preludes To Nowhere, il suo ultimo disco, forse il suo definitivo? Difficile dirlo prima di averlo ascoltato per intero tutto insieme ma la sensazione è che, dopo il suo esordio su Ghost Records, quel Lazily Go Through che lo aveva portato all’attenzione di noi “digger” nel Mendrisiotto, portandolo a suonare in un paio di occasioni e producendogli un disco qualche anno dopo, sia ora veramente compiuto. Il finale è sempre l’inizio di qualcosa e la voce di Enrico Mangione ci accompagnerà ancora a lungo insieme al suono della sua chitarra, ne siamo certi, così come quei bluesman catturati per strada ad inizio secolo, indecifrabilmente esseri tra il fantasma ed il ricordo.
